Our great terroir white wine is produced on a small parcel of land that has the particularity of being surrounded by the red vines of Château Fleur Cardinale.

LAND

The vineyard is located to the east of Saint-Emilion, on the edge of the appellation, on the northern slope of a limestone plateau. Its cool location is a real advantage in a warming climate. The vineyards are planted on deep clay soils and bordered by a 40-hectare forest.

WINE OF LIEU

The wine comes from a small parcel of 2.4 hectares, which has the particularity of being enclosed within the red vines of Château Fleur Cardinale, so that the estate can produce the same red and white wines every year.

TASTING

Fleur Cardinale Blanc is a great wine for laying down, produced from a small parcel of 2.4 hectares on the edge of the forest. The delicately perfumed nose reveals notes of white-fleshed fruit, punctuated by hints of flowers and graphite. The lively, fresh attack gives way to a burst of fruit that takes up the entire volume of the palate, with a perfectly controlled balance between tension and fatness. This remarkable structure is underpinned by a beautiful salinity. The contrast between intensity and finesse guarantees excellent ageing potential.
