Our very first white wine, produced from a tiny 2.4-hectare plot located along the edge of a forest.

IDENTITY

Intuition de Fleur Cardinale blanc, a white Bordeaux, is a fine introduction to the world of its elder brother, Fleur Cardinale blanc, of which it is the second blend.

The vineyard lies to the east of Saint- Emilion, on the edge of the appellation, on the northern slopes of a limestone plateau. Its cool location is a real advantage in a warming climate. The vineyards are planted on deep clay soils and bordered by a 40-hectare forest.

Intuition de Fleur Cardinale is unique in that it is a second cuvée, blended each year at the end of the ageing period for Fleur Cardinale white. No plot of land is pre-destined for this blend; only the palate decides during tasting to select batches based on immediate drinkability and deliciousness.

TASTING

A brilliant pale yellow colour with green glints.

A fresh nose offering a bouquet of acacia flowers together with white peaches and apricots, hints of jasmine, lemon zest and citron.

On the palate, a vibrant entry is followed by a sensation of volume and a certain smoothness.

The finish is fresh, mouth-watering and lingering. A pretty wine to be enjoyed in its first years.
