WEATHER CONDITIONS

The year 2019 has been a year of extremes. At the beginning of May we lost 1.5 hectares due to the frost. Then the following weeks were very dry and the temperatures very high.

Finally, the rainfall in July and August was satisfying and will allow the grapes to reach maturity at the end of September.

HARVEST

  • From 2 to 14 October 2019
  • Yields:  44hl/ha
  • Production: 22 000 bottles of second wine

Bourbon biscuits and mint crisp aromas, as well as plumbs, blackberries and a hint of mandarin acidity. This second wine could be mistaken as a first from many other châteaux. In the mouth, deep black fruit, succulent acidity, well balanced with generous flavors of After Eight mints, treacle and raspberries. March 2022
